Peruvian Canine Fashion

My zen retreat was wonderful! My people picked me up as scheduled and have not stopped talking about their trip – maybe next time they’ll take me.  They did come back bearing gifts; apparently this little number above is the latest canine fashion in Cuzco, Peru.  They got me one in red, I’ll share some pics as soon as I try it on.

Working like a dog

Office Buddy
Well not exactly.  My mom took me to the office today and I was really excited about it.  I thought it was going to be a “bring your Shiba to the office” day but when I got there, I was the only one.  It was really awesome to be the only Shiba there since I got everyone’s attention and they all even knew my name!  I do have to mention that a couple of them decided that it might be a good idea to carry me (you know, since I look small and all), but I was not a fan.  I think I might have to start wearing a “Don’t carry me” sign next time.

My First Day at the Dog Park

Dog Park Day 1
I am really not sure about this place yet. I kept hearing my people talking about it, about how great it was, about how I would be able to embrace my free spirited nature and run around leash free.  Well…we got there, the leash came off but I decided to play it safe and sit right next to my dad to scope it out.  There were a lot other dogs running around and one in particular who was totally fascinated by me (of course), but I’m not a let’s-get-dirty kinda gal. I think next time I might get off the bench and explore a little more. I’ll keep you all posted and make sure that my peeps take pics.

A little more about me before Santa Monica

I was lucky enough to have an amazing foster mom who took cake of me while my people found me. This is her blog and here she has a little more about me before I made it to Santa Monica. While I was at her home my name was Misaki (cute, right?)
